 Comal County offices are located in the County Seat of New Braunfels and is conveniently located in between the Cities of San Antonio and Austin off of I-H 35. New Braunfels is home to the world famous Schlitterbahn Water Park and Wurstfest and is just 30-35 miles north of San Antonio. Comal County is one of the fastest growing counties in Texas with a population of 78,021 in 2000, and an increase of over 39% to 108,472 in 2010 -11th fastest growing county in Texas in last 10 years!
